This book was not written from a place of ambition, but from a simple, relatable question: Is there more to life than this?
This book exists because of a rare and extended experience of transcendent awareness, an awakening that revealed a deeper dimension of consciousness not commonly recognized in Western culture.The journey began as a search to better understand life, people, and the self, without any intention of seeking mystical truths. But along the way, something deeper unfolded. Through direct experience, reflection, and honest observation, a new level of awareness began to reveal itself.

I’ve written this account because having a powerful and extended experience of the Transcendent State of Awareness is a rare thing in the West . If I hadn’t had this unexpected and essentially unfamiliar experience throughout the summer of 1975, I’d have nothing to say.It was during this elevated and truly miraculous adventure that I knew I was to share it with others.Since it is a wholly and holy spiritual account, I’ve chosen to use the spiritual name I received from my first spiritual Master. This is also to emphasize that my personal history is not that important, and all the truly important things are a part of the sharing.
Why do we think the way we do? Why does the mind never seem to stop? And why, even when life looks complete, does something still feel missing? The main question is, what if nothing is missing, only overlooked? This book will demonstrate how to get in touch with an aspect of your awareness that you’ve never been taught to recognize. Exploring this already present aspect of our awareness allowed me to see my own pervasive conditioning and then to begin naturally separating from it.
It was this same unknown capacity that prepared me to have the One Spirit in all reveal itself to me . After this story of Awakening, I share how this experience and the Knowledge it gave me is consistent with the great mystical traditions of the world, including Christianity — the esoteric teachings of Christianity. This work will help you recognize a number of things that you have probably never been exposed to, and these will help you to expand your understanding of sacred literature and yourself .
It will help a seeker understand why all genuine spiritual teachings emphasize living by the “golden rule,” knowing that everyone’s essential and underlying consciousness is the same. The ancient quest to “know thyself” via an authentic path is one key to answering many of your deepest questions. This has nothing to do with beliefs or accepting any philosophy or religion. It is strictly about getting to know your own already built-in capacities for expanding awareness and understanding.
